Ranch School is an educational progra that provides equine supported experiential learning (EFL) in a group setting, emphasizing life skills via ranch skills. This program is designed to maintain the core values of reciprocal equine-human partnerships, contributing to a community and putting the joy back into learning. We believe that life on the ranch can be a model for how to live in a more grounded, authentic and connected way and that the relational skills learned with equines can be applied to all relationships.

In Ranch School students will work with each other and equine partners to learn about:

• Herd formation; community, stewardship

• Awareness; safety on the ranch and around equines

• Communication; equine behavior, identifying breed, color, markings

• Setting healthy boundaries; physically, mentally

• Equine care; grooming, nutrition, medical, environment

• Overcoming obstacles; leading an equine through an obstacle course
